Faces of Nepal

This compilation of pictures will hopefully allow you to catch a glimpse of the incredible nature of the people we encountered in Nepal.  Their hard work, their pride in their land and homes,and their joy with their lives was inspiring  The different cultures and daily activities gave a moments pause to consider the differences in our cultures.   Each morning and afternoon, we would see women and children sweeping their stoops with straw brooms, the dust billowing into the mountain breeze, the pride in their homes.  This everyday act really made me think about how much we have in  western society and how we have taken this for granted.  I hope these pictures will help you see how amazing the people of Nepal are..
